Local Area Info
Caerphilly not only boast the Largest castle in Wales but is also blessed with some of the most beautiful scenery to be found anywhere
in the principality. Less densely populated and with more open spaces than Wales' capital city (Cardiff), Caerphilly is fast 'arriving'
as a very desirable area in which to live.
With 80% of the borough made up of stunning countryside, the large network
of walking & cycling routes offer breathtaking views as they pass through the
rich and ancient history of the past.
Sports enthusiasts will not be disappointed with Golf, rugby, football and numerous other pastimes being enjoyed
throughout the area.
The towns historic origins contrast nicely with the numerous shops, restaurants and bars (town center & rural),
which give a great welcome all year round. Caerphilly really does have something for everyone.
The excellent bus, rail and road links to Cardiff(15mins), M4(3 mins) and
Cardiff International Airport (30mins) make this an idyllic but practical location from which
to make your base.
